I use the xp-620, the next model up. I am able to easily print 300 gsm cardstock.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hope this helps: I have not printed on cardstock from this printer yet. However, I do have an idea that might help you. During your printing when the printing dialog box appears to choose your copies and all of that jazz, you need to select the type of paper that is being printed on. This is a major game changer here. If you don't select cardstock or heavy paper then the printer will jam. Now not all printers will but from my experience a lot of them do because they "think" they are printing on regular copy paper. Printers are picky lol. Same thing with photo paper...you need to make sure to choose glossy photo paper so that the printer prints correctly.
