I purchased this unit from Best Buy, replaced after 2 months. 6 months later same problem. Wouldn't power up
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My 4th unit just went out. 3 of them in the first 7 months. The fourth lasted just beyond the 2 year warranty. It’s unreal what a piece of trash this thing is $2800 paperweight.

I've heard that if you go through Epson they send you a refurbished unit and that best buy geek squad will send you a brand new one as an exchange. Picture is amazing btw.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had this issue with power supply. Purchased Epson 5040UB model with home theater through BestBuy/Magnolia in July 2017. Approx 11 months later projector would not start up. (We used very little, maybe avg 4 hours per week). Got a replacement 5040UB through BestBuy warranty and same issue came up again July 2019. BestBuy/Magnolia tech came and tested projector and have taken unit back to store to send to Epson. Still waiting for a replacement projector unit- now 2 months.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had mine for about 3 months and have had no issues. I did purchase the 2 year extended contract just in case. I also purchased this from Best Buy in case I had issues as it may be more difficult to get repairs from someone else
