My wife has a fit bit already. The band broke and we have been told there is nothing we can to do to replace it. Before I buy her a new one I want to know has this problem been rectified? I do not want to waste more money on a faulty product. null

My band broke and all I did was send them a tweet and email them and they sent me a new one. They responded to me immediately and were really nice about sending me a new one! I included pictures, which I think helped. Try reaching out to their customer service again.

The Fitbit Charge 2 has interchangeable bands. They can easily be changed without any tools.

You can purchase different bands for the Fitbit Charge 2 and the Flex.

There are thousands of fashion bands available for Fitbits. Go online and find what you need and just clip on the new one. I just installed a nice metal mesh one with a magnet latch that is both durable and stylish.

I think they "rectified" it by changing the way the 2 is interchangeable with different wrist bands. I had 4, (FOUR! in a year!) regular Fitbit HR's and each and every single one broke the same way. I really miss having that technology on my wrist but I too am hesitant to purchase another if this issue hasn't been resolved. I could join a gym for $150. I did receive 3 replacements but once the year cycled and my last replacement broke, they would not replace it again. I suggested they fix this issue. I guess this is their solution.

I've been through 2 of them. Had the same issue. It broke where the band attaches to the face of the watch. I called the factory first time. They sent me a free wrist band. One time only. Second time, too it back to Costco for a refund.
Also, had trouble tracking my miles even though it was synced. Have to admit, I loved it while I had it. Both times.
