The short answer is ... it's supposed to. I don't store music on my phone, so I can't say for sure whether it will work or not. However, I have had my FitBit Versa 2 since November 2020, and have not had any success in getting it to sync to Pandora or Deezer (a different version of Pandora/Spotify) even though it was advertised as making that possible. I even visited message boards to do some troubleshooting on my own, and nothing has worked. I think it might be a memory/storage issue, but I can't be sure.
