Hello! Automatic defrost is a technique which regularly defrosts the evaporator in a refrigerator or freezer. Appliances using this technique are often called frost free, frost-less, or no-frost. Automatic Defrost and Manual Defrost both refer to those freezers with the direct or fan assisted cooling system. Means, there will be ice built up on the inside freezer walls and you have to remove it periodically.
