not normal
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The manual does say it is normal for sounds like dripping, buzzing and girgling. Mine makes those sounds and I’ve owned it the whole summer season of 2018 and it still works great. The vibration may be caused by it not be enough foam in between the unit and top window.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Are you sure it is sitting securely in your window unit? Have the guards evenly distributed on each side of the A/C to the edge of the window casing and use the foam that came in the box that has sticky stuff on the back and use this to cover any holes or openings to the outside. You can see it best at night it will show any place that needs to be covered with the foam. Also, the foam can be folded in half and set the A/C on it and use it to keep any vibrations from happening. These are a few things to try.
