I purchased the 30 pint. I looked on Frigidaire's site but couldn't find a room size. I use it for our basement which is pretty big (30x25). It works great and it constantly drains using a hose that I attached.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the 50 pint in the basement(1800 sq ft) & it keeps it @ 50% humidity as long as you empty it as it gets full(which is couple x's/day)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't have a specific answer, but I can share my experience. I bought a 50 pint dehumidifier. I glanced at what area it covered -- it said 3000. Well, I did not fully understand or maybe I didn't read carefully and it turns out that is cubic square feet. Turns out that is about right for my condo which is 1050 square feet. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.a warmer room with less humidity to be removed could be larger, but with a low humidity setting in a humid cool environment, like a basement, I find that my 30 pint dehumidifier works well for 100 square feet and my 50 pint dehumidifier for 200 square feet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Up to 3000 sq ft. 50 pint is up to 5000 sq ft.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Mary, that is a great question to ask in reference to dehumidifier model FFAD3033R1. The area that this dehumidifier can cover is based on the conditions of the area. For example, in a moderately damp area a 30 BTU dehumidifier will cover about 3,000 square feet. In a very damp area, it will cover less than 2,000 square feet. As for a 50 BTU dehumidifier, in a moderately damp area it will cover more than 3,500 square feet. In a wet area it will cover 3,500 square feet. And in a very wet area it will cover 3,000 square feet. We hope this information is of assistance.
