- Answer The dimensions are provided in the description, under the specifications tab. It pretty much will fit any standard window, however if you have storm windows, you may have to add a riser board to obtain the correct slope.

QuestionCan this unit go in a sliding window and what brackets do I need to use?

- Answer Yeah, mine is installed in a sliding window. It was professionally installed and I had new windows so I didn't want them to screw in my windows, so they used metal brackets (you can go to Home Depot and asked them for this weight of AC what bracket is suitable. You can basically install any window AC in a sliding door window.

- Answer Wouldn't go above 36 inches. The panels would never reach the sides without major modification. I have this unit in 36 inch window no problems.

QuestionI have an air conditioner that will automatically shut off when it reaches the desired temperature (energy saver). Does this one do the same thing?

- Answer This will shut off automatically with energy saver. Fan runs every ten minuets or so to check room temp. Then decides to cool or not.

QuestionDoes it have temperature sensing remote? And how does it work?

- Answer It has a thermostat remote. It reads the temperature in the house and keeps the unit working until it reaches the temperature you set it for the unit to cool.

- Answer It comes with all the installation attachments. Depending on what kind of windows you have, you may have to buy additional parts to install it. (Plexiglass to replace the missing window), if you have sliders. For single or double hung windows, you don't need anything extra.

- Answer The R1 and S1 are similar. The S1 includes a clean air function (ionizer) . From the manual description: When this feature is "ON", the electronic air purifier is energized to remove pollen and impurities from the air.

- Answer Yes you can ,This unit has pressure sensitive buttons on front of the unit and a wireless remote that has a digital temperature gauge that shows you the temp in the room

QuestionWhen I change any mode, the beep indicator sounds very quietly. I had before same model (2012) and that worked great. If somebody has same problem? Just not sure: make a return if all models works same or an exchange if it's manufacturer defect. Thank you

- Answer I recently purchased this unit. Beep sound when a mode is changed appears to be a normal activity. I believe that there may be a way to turn off that notification, please review your owner's manual.
