No. It means that they are installing for a standard gas line as opposed to one that requires the additional installation of a flow regulator such as with liquid propane.

If there are any complications, like a wrong sized fitting, they just stop what they're doing and leave it. I wouldn't recommend this option, given my experience. Even if the crew knows what they're doing, it's always nice to have a professional handling something as important as a gas installation.
