measurements of a three dimensional object. To put it the most simply, to find a volume, you’d multiply the length of an object, the width of the object and it’s height. The feet part refers to the base measurement used to get us to the 3D units. A foot, in measurement, is an imperial unit of length which is 12 inches long, or roughly 30.5 centimetres. So, cubic feet is when you measure the length, width and height using feet, and then multiply the 3 measurements together.
