Thanks so much for your inquiry and concern. What you are experiencing is normal. The Department of Energy (DOE) sets standards for washer water usage. Over the years, the amount of allowable water usage has been reduced. With washers using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water. Most washers are now programmed with load sensing to adjust water levels based on the cycle and load size, so the amount of water used will vary. Rest assured, however, that your clothes are still being cleaned just as sufficiently as before despite the lower amount of water being used. The Precise Fill feature's water level will be adjusted according to the amount of laundry being washed, along with other selected settings. You are welcome to contact us any time with questions you may have as we are always here to help! -Chris@GEA
