So i solved my own issue - after having a Geek Squad tech come out and look at it, i just replaced it with an LG model - the new one is so quiet we literally have to look at it to see whether it is still running or if we juar missed hearing the load done signal!

Clicks, water flowing, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds are all part of the normal wash cycle. If you consider the noise you're hearing as abnormal, please follow the suggestions in the "Loud or unusual noise; vibration or shaking" section pg. 32 of the Owner's Manual.
