A:AnswerAccording to the manufacturer's website the 5600x is supported. Reference: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B450M-DS3H-rev-1x/support#support-cpu
A:AnswerYes you can use the Ryzen 5 3600, it is what I used. When attaching it, you may want to put it on before installing the mother board into the case. In the diagram below, you will have to remove the 2 black plastic spacers on either side of the socket, and then make sure the supports on the back of the MB don't fall out. You will then connect your cooling setup that comes with the processor and use the same screw holes to connect to the supports on the back.
A:AnswerIt supports 4 HDD/CDROM type devices and 1 M2 SSD. That's assuming that the M2 doesn't use two of the SATA's on the board, it shouldn't since the chipset should be able to handle up to 6 SATA devices. If the board had 6 SATA ports on the MB the M2 would disable the last 2 ports on the MB if used.
A:AnswerAny standard 80 PLUS rated ATX 12V power supply (including SFX, TFX and flex-ATX form factors as well as full-size ATX) will work. Ideally it should have an 8-pin or 4+4-pin EPS 12V (CPU power) cable, but a single 4-pin installed at one end of the 8-pin connector on the motherboard will also work as long as your CPU doesn't use more than 150W of power.
Proprietary PSUs which do not use the ATX specification (e.g. those made by Dell for use in their own PCs) or which use the "ATX 12VO" specification (which only support 12V power) will not work with this motherboard.
The required PSU form factor depends on your PC case. ATX PSUs are usually cheapest, but some small cases require smaller PSUs.
A:AnswerThat depends on how your fans are wired. A lot of Corsair products use a little box for fan control like their Commander units, so all your many fans go into that single device, and the controller only needs one fan and/or USB cable from the motherboard. This B450M DS3H mobo has 2 PWM fan headers: 1 for CPU_FAN and 1 for SYS_FAN, and also 2 USB2 headers and 1 USB3 header. Maybe the CPU_FAN header can be used for your last case fan or your pump, since your CPU is on water instead of an air cooler. If you're not using some type of fan controller/hub, PWM splitter cables are cheap and can run like 2-4 fans easily from a single header depending on power draw. I'm running 3 case fans off a single splitter.
A:AnswerThere are only 2 fan headers on the board, one for the processor cooling fan, and one for the back. My case has a fan in the front as well, so I had to give one of the fans power direct from the power supply.
A:AnswerYou can find that information from the manufacturer website for that board typically. I have attached the board diagram and the back panel connectors for you that came in the box for the one I purchased.
