sites I watch a lot of TV shows and movies on different streaming sites ie, solarmovies, megashare, primewire etc. Will chrome cast work with these sites? I do also watch lots of Netflix and some YouTube so it may still be worth it for me but it would be nice if it work for my other sites aswell

Yes, if you can watch it in chrome it can be sent to the Chromecast.

It depends on if you're using it with a smart phone or a laptop. Either way if you do not have an app to stream it directly you always have the option to cast your screen which would allow you to see everything that on your device directly on your tv. Hope this helps :)

It will work with Netflix, Hulu, you tube. Some movie sharing sites will not work such as yify. Not sure about the other sites you listed

Yes, it will if your PC is up to the task. There's a beta extension for chromecast for the google chrome browser that will cast any tab to the chromecast. Another alternative is to use an android device with XBMCcast (search google for XBMCcast apk) or the Show Box app (google Show Box apk) and either BubbleUPNP or Localcast (both available in the Google Play Store). XBMCcast and Show Box will both need to be sideloaded onto the device. I use my Samsung Tab Pro 8.4 with these combinations to watch Primewire all the time. I prefer XBMCcast, but if Primewire goes down, Show Box is my backup go to.

Yes and no. They recently added CAST SCREEN feature but it's a little jerky and still in beta. If you go to the chromecast product page on Google it will show you the native casting apps. The list has grown a bit since it first was published but still remains s little small. Hulu, Netflix, HBO, YouTube, and some others are definitely included. Bring your subscription from your phone app. If you buy a chromecast and already have those apps installed, after you set up the device, casting is a breeze. Hope that helps.

That depends on the device you are using, if you are able to download chrome to the device then you can cast the tab that you are watching the movie on and you will be able to see it on your TV screen.

Yes, Chromecast works with most sites as long as its web based. I use the watch espn app on my tablet and I am able to cast it. I use internet explorer with youtube, I am able to cast it. The only thing I was unable to cast was actual videos from my phone that were not web based. Home videes mostly.

The Chromecast will only work with APPS that are compatible with the product. unfortunately not many apps are supported by chromecast on this date.

Yes and no. They work very easy with a free Android app, Yatse and PC program XBMC. I have not found a way to do it without a phone. It works well though.

So far I haven't had any problems viewing these programs. We use Chrome cast and it works great. We also use Hulu on a regular basis and we've had no no problems!
