The pixels that best buy sells are unlocked for any US carrier on GSM and CDMA (and some over seas ones), I just took mine to china, and while the Chinese govt blocks most google services, i popped in a china mobile sim and had service within 3 min. Also I have it on google fi in the states which uses us cellular.

I would ask your cellphone provider what bands they run on. Then I would varify the pixel is compatible with those bands. The phone is universally unlocked so it should run on all major carriers in the USA. You will never be able to get an imei number without purchasing the phone.
