Pound for pound. Or should I say dollar for dollar The Harman Kardon was my pick. I auditioned a whole cast of the speakers including the above listed and I chose The Onyx for its excellent sound quality as well as being in a very good price point. I'm not having any regrets from my purchase. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I listened to everything BestBuy had to offer in a Bluetooth speaker before my purchase. In my opinion, Harmon Kardon Onyx Studio beat them all easily, and it wasn't even close. Very well made speaker, that produces quality sound.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This speaker, hands down. This speaker has 6 drivers altogether. 2 tweeters, 2 midrange, and 2 subwoofer drivers. This will give you a more "pronounced" sound than the other two. Plus I think this speaker is louder with better clarity, along with exceptionally better bass reproduction.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All three have incredible sound but Harmon kardon is the only one that will give you incredible bass without distorting the actual song.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All three of these are used for different things. The Harmon Kardon is by far going to have the best sound and deepest bass. The only downfall to it is its meant to be more of a desk speaker. The Bose Soundlink Mini has GREAT quality sound, but it isn't going to have the bass and volume that the Harmon Kardon can put out due to it's small size. Overall, if your looking for an on the go speaker, Bose. If your looking for one to keep at the house, Harmon Kardon.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The onyx has the best sound.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would go with the HK, or Bose. It would come down to which of these came at the best price.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Harmon Kardon was my choice for best sound. Excellent clarity and adequate bass. See review I posted a minute ago.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought the HK Onyx Studio Portable Bluetooth (Deal-of-the-Day - $149) and the Bose SoundLinkIII to compare the speakers. I kept the HK because of the quality of the sound. I had read many reviews about both speakers and talked to BB staff. The HK had a noticeably richer sound than the Bose SLIII, especially in a moderate-size family room with four walls. The difference was especially noticeable with vocal and instrumental. The quality difference was less noticeable in a large open room. I had listened to the Bose SL III and the SL Mini in the store and thought that the III was better than the Mini. The Sonos uses wi-fi and I wanted a bluetooth speaker. I tried the Sonos in the store and it does have a good sound. I learned that it is important to try the speakers in your own home, with your own music, and your own usage (portability, battery, etc.) I have a Sony SRS-X3 ($100) that I originally bought and it fits my needs for portability and price. I had not considered the HK until I saw it on sale and after listening to it, I am glad that I purchased it. The SL Mini might have been a good choice if I was only going to buy one speaker. I had intended to only buy one speaker when I bought the Sony, but the HK price was tempting and I really liked the sound. I now have two speakers that meet different needs.
