Mine dried within 3 hrs, had the ceiling fan on. I went over the cleaned area twice as much as recommended

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The carpet should not have enough water put on it to make it take more than 4 to 6 hours to dry whether it is winter or summer. Fans blowing on mine make it dry more quickly. I never shampoo mine on a real rainy day. If yours is taking longer than four hours to dry then cut back on amount of water you are spraying and/or go over it several times after you have gotten it that wet without spraying any water. That way you will pull water out of the carpet so it will dry more quickly. You can tell if you are getting water out by looking at the receiving tank.
