This laptop is excellent for doing basic web-based work as well as running one application at a time, but not for small business and school work, which requires multitasking, a faster processor, and more RAM. A good hardware configuration for that kind of work would be an Intel Core i3 or i5 (or AMD equivalent) with 8GB of memory and at least 256GB of storage. Also, make sure that the computer model is running Windows 11 Home out of the box. That type of configuration will last you a few years down the road in your business and school work.
