Is this computer compatible with 3D printers? I have to run Cura for my printer. I bought a Chromebook and it does not support any programs for my 3D printer or any of my software for my CNC plasma table. Don't want to but another computer i can't use. null

Thank you for the question. Please review the system requirements for the software you intend to use. As an example, Ultimaker Cura requires 8GB of RAM at a minimum, and a graphics card compatible with OpenGL2 for 3D layer viewing. You'll need to look at the Pavilion, Envy or Spectre laptops or a gaming computer with NVIDIA or GeForce GTX or RTX graphics.

Don't listen to HP, they didnt actually look into this. Yes, this computer does meet the requirements of CURA. They confused recommended with minimum.

Minimum system requirements

OpenGL 2 compatible graphics card, OpenGL 4.1 for 3D layer view
    Display resolution 1024 x 768
    Intel Core 2 or AMD Athlon 64
    550 MB available hard disk space
    4GB RAM memory

Recommended system requirements

OpenGL 4.1 compatible graphics card for 3D layer view
    Display resolution 1920 x 1080
    Intel Core i3 or AMD Athlon 64
        Not all Intel integrated graphics support OpenGL 4.1 or higher. Learn more here.
    600 MB available hard disk space
    8GB RAM memory
