You can definitely run Photoshop, but it will drive you crazy while you wait for it to finish operations. That will be true even if you add RAM to go to the 16GB mark. If you check the Adobe website, you will see that they recommend a separate graphics card that has specific minimum attributes for OPTIMUM performance. Instead, I would recommend something like an MSI gaming laptop. In general, they tend to be better priced. Your other option is a desktop, which will be cheaper for the same or even better performance.

Please try again later.You can, but you may need to make a few updates first and because that app needs a lot of memory I would not attempt to do this right out of the box. Also for process intensive software, I'd recommend a faster CPU as well. Maybe take a look at the i7 and find a machine with a minimum of 32GB of RAM.
