I bought this model at BestBuy, and it was malfunctioning right out of the box, so I had to return it the next day. They replaced it with a new one (same model) with no problem. BestBuy only has a 14 day(+/-) return policy, but HP gives you a year - so be sure to register it on day 1.

Thank you for asking. Best Buy's return policy for new is as follows: If you want to return or exchange your purchase, please know that the time period begins the day you receive your product. If your purchase at a store is directly with a vendor, then the vendor's return policy applies. Most products are returnable within 15 days. Best Buy Plus and Total members have a return windows of 60 days.
