Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, The HP X27q QHD Gaming Monitor offers a audio-out / headphone jack for 'POWERED' speakers, headphones, earbuds or a headset. The headphone port/jack isnt powered and is only a 'audio-out' port. The monitor relies on the headphones, speakers or what ever that is connected to that port to have its only power supply, in which will also offer a volume control. I have included a screen-shot that shows the manual to reflect the power speakers or headphones options. If you want to use this headphone port for your audio then I have made some suggestions for things I have used that I would recommend. The Logitech - Speakers (2-Piece) - Black are simple table top speakers (powered) for basic audio. They are really cheap priced speakers that do a good job. We have 2 sets of these hooked up for our work computers and can control the volume. Hope this helps - Good luck!
