• That stumped me too, because that’s how my old printer (Laserjet Pro 8600) worked. This one you use the app to print remotely. The instructions explain how.

• I believe that once you set up your printer with your phone, you will have an app called the hp smart print from there you can choose that printer and print remotely. Add that printer to your laptop and you can do the same
