The Spectrum TV app is not available for the Fire TV Edition television.

It didn't work when I tried it. Spectrum TV only works on Roku TV, Apple TV, Sony and Insignia Android TV, and Microsoft XBOX devices, and on select Samsung TVs.

It does NOT work on Amazon Fire TV or LG WebOS devices. I have asked Charter Communications d/b/a Spectrum why, and all I hear is crickets, so I can assume they're trying to push their cable boxes to those of y'all whose TVs aren't compatible.

Another caveat: Those of y'all with Sony TVs and Sony home theater receivers can't use Spectrum's model 110 box, due to HDCP compatibility issues between the box and Sony's Bravia XR image processor. If you have a newer Sony TV or a Sony home theater system, and your Sony TV doesn't run Android TV, buy a Roku and use the Spectrum TV app on it instead of renting Spectrum's box.

I bought this for my daughter but the Roku sticks can so I imagine it would be no problem for a Roku tv.
