Sounds like the it might have a problem in the software and reading the signals from the remote. Unplug your power cord from the unit not the wall the press and hold the power button for 10 seconds then while holding the power button have someone plug the tv back in. This usually fixes glitches for anything that’s software related. Try that, if that don’t work you may need to contact insignia or just buy a universal remote (if there is one for these TVs)
