Hi! Is the pressure valve supposed to come all the way off? it seems to barely sit in place the way I think it should and could easily get knocked off or lost when stored away. null

I am guessing that you are referring to the pressure release 'valve'... Yes it is removeable for cleaning purposes. It does 'float' on the cover. This is correct and normal. It should still have to be tugged a bit to be removed, therefore it should not fall off. When I turn my cover upside down it does not fall off and is not easy to knock off. Hope this helps.

Ok so mine just fell off after I washed the lid. Someone said it shouldn’t do this and now I’m kinda scared to use it .

No i bought one and mine sits all the way to the bottom and when its time to release it turns and come up to release steam. It does come off all the way i imagine for leaning purpose

It looks that way but doesn’t fall off when storing. I’ve been cooking in this pressure cooker almost everyday & its very impressive.

Yes. This has to come off so you can wash it.

I noticed that as well. I assume it was designed that way kinda wobbly. I believe the book that it came with has instructions for assembly and cleaning of the parts.
