Just like when you charge your remotes via USB, they stop charging automatically once full. The same goes for this, since it is a dock it is designed to not overcharge. The remotes will not charge once they are full. Hope this helps. Thanks!

Please try again later.i have 2 controllers on it and i always use the same controller to play with. so my other controller sits on there all the time and the device is blue letting me know it is fully charged and my controller is not lit up as though it is charging. so i do not believe over charging to be an issue with this device.
