This is the APPLE Tag HOLDER, not the Apple Tag, which sits inside the silicon ring. I needed this/it is valued accessory to how you USE the Apple Tag. For me, this let me put the tag on the INSIDE of my bag (so it was not stolen as it would have been visible on the outside), hooking it to the loop used for KEY RING.

It holds the air tag. Then you clip your keys on the ring. Air tag is sold seperatly.

Yes I use mine for my work keys, it’ll find them but you have to get pretty close hear the tone you activate to locate them.  Will definitely help you locate them at home
