A:AnswerYou must still run wires from your amplifier to your speakers. The Bluetooth receiver connects to an input on your amplifier and permits you to pair a Bluetooth portable device to play through this amplifier/speaker combination. Speakers which do not have built-in amplifiers need power to drive them; this requires wires to an amplifier.
A:AnswerYes, but short battery life, will need separate usb power for unit. Small usb battery charger found cheap just about everywhere should do it. Hope this was helpful. Enjoy your Day!
A:AnswerHi Me...
Yes. It should work fine for this. You'll just need to keep it charged. Perhaps you can simply keep it plugged in continuously to a micro USB cable/plug. Good luck.
A:AnswerI cannot guarantee that this will work, but have you tried re-naming each unit in your phone? (I'm assuming that it's a phone that you are trying to pair.) Customizing the names will allow you to distinguish the two pretty quickly.
A:AnswerFirst, I'm just another consumer who bought one of these, not a Best Buy person. I'd recommend a component-swap to diagnose further. Does it work with other bluetooth devices, like your cell phone? If so, then it is the connectivity. If not, the device is bad. Mine seems to work without the issue you describe, but I am not using Alexa. Bluetooth is usually only good for 25-30 ft. unobstructed, so make sure there is line of sight between the devices, or if there are walls, cabinets, and especially if there is a lot of metal, then the two devices are going to have to be closer. My general rule of thumb, is to use wired connections if at all possible, because wireless is subject to interference. Best of Luck!
A:AnswerThis is a bluetooth receiver. Only works for car stereos or home stereos. It enables you tk connect your phone and play the music from your phone to your stereo... you might need a bluetooth transmitter. Wich allows u to send the sound from your tv to your headphones or other speaker playing device.
A:AnswerHi there, from what I understand, some computers can not cast wirelessly on their own without the help of a wireless dongle. ( A USB type device that transmits your BT signal).
1.Is your computer Bluetooth capable on its own?
2.If it is not, I believe they sell wireless dongles designed to just this job.
3.Is your auxiliary cord plugged in to the Bluetooth device and also to the headphones jack of your computer?
This device has to be charged completely before its first use, you'll know its connected when the flashing blue light on the device turns solid.
Hope that helps!
