• Even when the ice is covering the sensor? I've seen one video out there that was really good on how to troubleshoot and repair the makers. It's a YouTube.

• DO NOT buy this product!! Ice Maker quit working after 3 months. Even though the Insignia brand is owned by Best Buy, they would not support the 1 year warranty!!
