• Yes it is. I use a T3i and had no problems using the remote with it.

• I have a T3i and it does NOT work for me. From what I read elsewhere the T3i doesn't have an IR receiver. Perhaps some models do, but not all of them. Buyer beware, it may not work for you!

• yes but it has to be in full auto, self timer/remote, and remote must be close to the camera and pointing directly at it (in my case anyways)
