After checking it out online the answer is "Supposedly" Yes... If... You upgrade the Bios Twice!!! Once to a newer version and then a second time to the latest 300 series Bios I Must Warn You... Updating a Bios is Dangerous! If not done correctly and fails... You Motherboard would be No Good Anymore! Proceed at your own risk! However according to the Asus Support website... If you do this it will accept the newer Processor... Good Luck! Rick.

Please try again later.hi. upgrading your bios is not dangerous anymore. it is quite easy and safe. try not to do it during a thunderstorm, though. even a failed update can be recovered on newer boards. msi boards can be downgraded too. the danger behind many of those concerns has long been erased in safety features on newer models that are not perceivable.
