I've had the older models, as well as this new model, and never really cleaned the sensors. (Haven't yet on the new one, after, maybe, 30 runs; and probably cleaned the sensors on the old ones once or twice a year.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've located two on the underside of the unit. Easily cleaned with a Mr. Clean sheet. And there is a sensing area on the home base that I clean so the the roomba can locate home base. Doesn't have to been done more than twice a month. And with the auto dirt disposal, you don't have to empty any bin.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am sure at some time it would be good to clean the unit but there is nothing that needs to be cleaned each time it runs. We have run the unit about 50 times and it has worked flawlessly .
