“I have an MSI GF 63 laptop. Will this docking station work with this laptop? The last one I bought ( j5 create jcd543) won’t work even after purchasing the extra power adaptor.”

Works with my Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 so I imagine it will work with your laptop. Was the power adapter 65 Watts? You also need software to run the dock.

The JCD543 requires a feature from your computer called "DisplayPort Mode" and "Power Delivery" over USB-C. MSI's website states "1x Type-C USB3.1 Gen1". Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device.
