• You can but it's not preffered, it's best if your adapter has a smart charge function so it won't overcharge the battery.

• Thanks for reaching out. We would only suggest one voltage and amperage in the Spec Sheet. The recommended power brick/adapter for our JBL Charge 5 has a rating of 5V, 2A.
