Q: QuestionJust moved and reconnected my jbl400 the exact way it's been working for abt 2 yrs. And now I can't get anY sound or video when connected to Hdmi arc/ and all the Hdmi inputs. Bluetooth sound works but that a it. Any suggestions???

Q: QuestionAnother question on the JBL SB 400. Why is it so difficult to get the Bluetooth to sync with my smartphone when my phone has no trouble syncing with other speakers? Bluetooth button just flashes. And the input jumps erratically. HELP!!!

Q: QuestionI purchased an SB400 about 2 1/2 years ago. The sound just stopped working (including bluetooth and HDMI). Harmon said the only thing I can do is send it to a repair facility. The repair shop says it may not be fixable. This is very unacceptable. Help?

• A:Answer You can download generic remote apps for just about any device for your smartphone and use that if you have to. They are laggy and sometimes come with ads, but will get you out of a jam.

Q: QuestionI hooked up my SB400 a couple of different ways, ARC HDMI 1st then the optical, but either way it produces a very load POP when turned on. Turn the sub-woofer off and mute the sound bar, turn it off then back on and it still produces a very loud POP. ??

Q: QuestionWill my cable provider TV remote turn the volume up and down or will I have to use the sound bar remote. I have TWC as my provider!

• A:Answer If you're looking to program CINEMA SB400 to respond to your TWC remote, here are the steps. Have the TWC remote in hand. When you start programming the remote, be ready to aim the TV remote to the front of the soundbar from about 300mm–900mm (12–36 inches) away. To program the power, volume down, volume up and mute commands: 1. Ensure that the CINEMA SB400 is ON. 2. On the soundbar, press and hold the top-panel Surround button until the LED flashes amber. If the LED does not flash after three seconds, release the buttons and try again. 3. Press the soundbar top-panel button you want to program (Power, Volume Down, Volume Up, Volume Down and Up simultaneously for Mute). 4. Aim the TV remote at the front of the soundbar and slowly press the corresponding button on the top-panel button until the Surround button on the soundbar flashes white for one second. This indicates that the programming operation has been successful. 5. To exit the learning mode (at any time or when the learning is complete), press and hold the soundbar Surround button until the amber LED stops flashing. If you would like to program a new TV remote control or you are missing a command, restart the whole process. To reset the CINEMA SB400 remote settings: 1. Press the top-panel power button to enter Standby mode (amber color indicator) 2. Press and hold the Surround and Volume (–) buttons simultaneously. Once factory defaults are restored, the CINEMA SB400 surround button will flash white for one second, then the unit will enter into operational mode.

• A:Answer The SB400 does not support 4K. It cannot pass 4K video through its HDMI connections. However, you can connect your sources directly to your TV, and then run the audio from the TV to the SB400 via ARC or optical digital. This ensures you get a 4k content on your TV.

• A:Answer JBL 400. I don't think you can tell the JBL volume level except on the tv screen. If playing only audio and tv is off, rule of thumb is usually "turn up the volume on the source device, then set desired level on the soundbar."
