I connect to my cell,that’s how I use mine, and it jams it loud enough from over twenty feet.

Hi there, you can connect your JBL Flip 5 to your TV using Aux connection. If your smart TV has Bluetooth capabilities, you can also connect to it by pressing and holding the Bluetooth button on the Flip 5 until it flashes to put it in pairing mode, then go to your TV's Bluetooth settings and connect to the Flip 5.
