No it doesn't I love it and don't forget if u get any mold its gonna be easy to see

Thanks for your question! Similar to other household appliances, Keurig coffee makers require basic maintenance in order to keep them clean and functioning properly. For best results, we recommend descaling every 3 months using our descaling solution to keep the coffee maker free from scale or lime build up. The water reservoir should be cleaned weekly by wiping it with a damp, soapy, lint-free, non-abrasive cloth and rinsing thoroughly. It should not be placed in the dishwasher.

I just wipe it off every couple of days with a paper towel wet with water. Very easy to do.
