This model has two RAM memory slots. The Lenovo IdeaCentre 310s ships with 4GB of DDR4-2666MHz RAM in one memory slot. This system can support another 4GB of RAM in the open memory slot.

Please try again later.I recently purchased this desktop and utilizing the Crucial Memory software was able to analyze the motherboard to upgrade this to 32 gigs of memory (Ballistix Sport LT 32GB Kit (16GBx2) DDR4 3200 MT/s (PC4-25600) CL16 DR x8 DIMM 288-Pin Memory - BLS2K16G4D32AESE (Red). Upgrade was simple and straightforward. The desktop is now blazing fast. I can have 50 windows open, use Photoshop, and have no lag time whatsoever.

As long as it is in an open area it is great and you are just using it for basic wen, email and office programs as this is a simple system you will be happy if you are thinking of bumping up ram and for gaming ai so not believe you will be happy with it out of the box. But hey you know your games ans what you need to make them play. You do you.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's capable of running 16gb of ram on the AMD A9-9425. I added a Crucial 8GB stick to the open slot because I was told wrong as well (could only do 8) so, since there's already 4 I just gave it a try an low and behold! 12gb Ram Now :)
