However, it is prudent to install some form of additional antivirus software. You can turn to web sites like CNET or ZDNET or PCMAG or others to find recommendations for highly-rated antivirus programs. At the very least, I'd recommend that you install the most highly-rated free antivirus software. If you are careful about the web sites you visit and careful not to open e-mail attachments, the free anti-virus program might be reasonable. If several people use the computer I'd buy a top-rated, proactive program. Hope that helps!
