You cant compare this machine to a conventional stand-alone drier. Time is a function of materials being dried. You determine the drying cycle you wish to use depending on how damp you want the load to be on exit.. If you want towels to be dried completely, it could take 2+ hours. Clothes take less time than towels. I bought this machine equipped with a stainless steel drum because I had to replace a 15+years old combo machine which was rough on clothes, made lots of noise, was outdated for current materials treatment, and environmentally less friendly in terms of energy and water consumption. Hope my comments help in your decision-making process.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My wife says it takes two hour to dry a small load. We would not recommend this machine for a family. It is barely acceptable for the two of us.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does take longer but I love this unit. It is quiet and gentle on the laundry. Towels are the only thing I have seen that take a much longer time but I set it to the highest dry time and will try a different setting next time. I have been very glad I purchased this unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It takes anywhere from 2.5 to 3.5 hours to complete a full cycle. That might seem like a lot and it is but here's the beauty of a machine like this. Put a load in right before you go to bed and voila guaranteed done when you wake.
