That is because it is spring loaded. Meaning that there is spring behind the button that keeps it in place against the front of your machine. When you push it in your button comes away from frame holding the button and seems to be wobbly. Push it in all the way and don't worry about the wobble. Be happy you bought a great washing machine too!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, not normal. Should be just pushing the power button, selecting your cycle and then start button. I'm used to the LG buttons and they haven't changed them for quite a while. My prior washer was also LG.
