This is very hard to explain, but here I go, bare with me please! So the agitator does the normal swish swash, then the basket spins & the agitator goes the oposite direction of the spinning basket. The very bottom of the basket has rubber bumpers, which I'm guessing is the 3rd way, lol. (The bumpers look like what "agitated" on my agitator less washer.) Lastly, the 4th, I'm guessing, is the pulsating feature that the agitator does while washing. Hope you understand my explanation, lol. I went from a non-agitating, to a front load then to this & by far it's the best washer I've owned!! My clothes come out cleaner than both washers mentioned above! (I took a picture of the basket to attach, however it's telling me it's too large, look at product description pictures & you'll see the white agitator, which pulsates, & the gray bumpers!) Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello there! A 4-way agitator, as featured in the LG WT7155CW top load washer, is designed to provide a gentle yet thorough cleaning action. This type of agitator moves in four different directions to enhance the washing process. The unique wash action helps to ensure that clothes are cleaned effectively while minimizing wear and tear. The 4-way agitator works in conjunction with other technologies like TurboDrum™ to deliver an enhanced but gentle clean. -Junel
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The washer seems to weigh volume before adding water as to not use more than necessary. I change the setting to get a more saterated soak from time to time.
