BB just gave me a gift card equal to the full price I paid for my 2017 55” OLED C7 model. At the time of purchase, I bought the 5 year geek squad warranty and it is under that warranty that a refund was issued. The warranty would have ended on 3/4/24. Attached pic that BB accepted with no attempt to not honor the warranty. I did run the pixel refresh LG option many times. The closed caption lines still did “burn in” and BB warranty covers burn in. Due to age of my almost 5 yo set no longer being available, the only option was to refund the original price as a gift card, which I just cashed in and bought an open box 55” LG OLED C3 in “excellent” condition, for a difference of $11 between refund of 1187 and price of open box set. It was a smooth and painless process! I also bought the 5 year geek squad plan again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For your question, I don't know. My tv is brand new. I saw some of the reviews about burn in. Supposedly the LG OLED TVs started from the A to B to Cs, and some of them have numbers 1, 2, and 3. For that reason I picked a C3. Supposedly it shouldn't be a problem unless you watch a channel like has a logo all day like CNN or FOX, etc. I don't watch TV all day so I wouldn't worry about that. And if I did I would still LOVE THIS TV. That's how good that is.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am not happy with LG OLED C3 for two reasons: The burn-in became problematic. The screen looking wear(colorations) for several weeks now. The 3D thing needed more adjustments, but not supper good yet (picture quality- dizziness) during after three hours used each days. Just not happy with OLED screen, yet. I have Panasonic TC-L55DT50, made April 2012 still working with Apple TV 4K 128GB 3rd Generation is supper clear either #D or 2D, as well Antennas Direct-ClearStream 4MAX, UHF/VHF HDTV.
