It does have RS-232C Phone Jack Type port in the back that you can connect to a PC or an A/V control system for an External Control Device Setup using a phone-jack to RS-232 cable...^IFV

Not a direct response but a Bluesound node can trigger on by CEC via HDMI. The trigger on bluesound can turn on amp etc.

Enabling CEC on devices connected by hdmi then enabling simplink will allow a “trigger” effect. When I turn on my buray player the tv automatically changes to the correct input. If the tv is off it will turn on. Starting netflix on the tv automatically changes the receiver input to tv and so on. Hdmi CEC can be glitchy though so sometimes it doesn't work until the tv or device is reset by cycling the power.
