It will tell you when to do it, otherwise don’t do it. I’ve read this can hurt the tv.

An automatic pixel refresh runs up to 4 times per day when the TV is turned off after four hours of cumulative usage. This requires the power to be connected, and it takes between 7 and 10 minutes to complete. There is not a recommendation of how frequently you should run the Pixel Refresher. Please be advised calibration can take more than an hour. ^Daphane
