Hi there, Holly. Thank you for your question about the LG DLEX8600BE Electric Dryer.

The LG DLEX8600BE features a steam function for certain drying cycles, such as SteamSanitary™ and SteamFresh™. To use the steam feature, you’ll need to add water to the steam container. The water reservoir is located inside the door area of the dryer. Simply open the door, locate the water tank, and fill it with water to activate the steam functions.
