Hi FL370. That is normal. The LG CX 77 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (76.7'' Diag), Model # OLED77CXPUA will have an almost imperceptible or what you describe as "literally a hair of a lean towards the back" rear tilt when the stand legs are installed....^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just purchased the 77' OLED C1 and have the same situation. I reinstalled the stand/mount twice and the backwards lean/tilt is still there. Mine is more than an inch, and given the 77" size, the lean becomes more pronounced at the top of the screen. The lean is not detectable when watching TV, but it is when standing in our TV room or walking by the TV. I've enclosed a pic of the lean, in case anyone has a similar situation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We had the same issue. After a lot of research and a phone call we found out it is designed this way. It is supposed to reduce glare. They should put this on the instructions!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine does the same thing and mine leans back more than a hair.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine leans back about a centimeter. I tightened the screws down fully and lined the base up properly. I’m very worried about this tilt. The thought of laying this thing down to try and adjust the base, and lifting it back up on the tv stand is daunting. I’d appreciate knowing if the original poster’s tilt is actually more than “literally a hair”. I don’t think I’d notice a hair width.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My LG OLED55CXPUA does the same thing. Unassembled, re-checked tabs/install, re-tightened all the screws. Still about a 1" rearward lean from perfect vertical perpendicular to the shelf. LG should provide additional adjustment leveling screws or feet in the rear. I'll probably buy some variable height rubber pads and shim it up until vertical. But it just looks sloppy for a $1400 flagship product.
