The washer has standard hot and cold inlets. A water heater is required to provide hot/warm water to the washer.

If no water heater is nearby, you could add an instant hot water heater to the supply that the washer requires.

It just needs hot and cold water supplies like a normal washer. The steam is generated in both the washer and matching dryer by internal heating elements.
