A:AnswerYes, you can stream video from Netflix, Amazon, YouTube, etc. The device needs an ethernet cable connected to your router; it can't use a wireless connection. TO SET UP THE ETHERNET CONNECTION: turn the player off and unplug it. Hold down the power button for several seconds. Then connect the ethernet cable, plug it in, and turn it back on. I had serious issues trying to set up the connection when the player was already on: it wouldn't recognize that the cable was connected. I had to call customer service to get this advice so I'm sharing it here in case it is helpful to anyone else.
A:AnswerI have been having the same problem. I bought 2 of them. 1 connected to the living room tv and the other the bedroom tv and both are doing this. Freezing up when I turn it on. So frustrating!
A:AnswerYes, but it freezes and crashes constantly. So i guess it depends on how patient you are. I wouldn't buy it for that. There's better ways to stream apps, and this isn't it.

A:AnswerI have many BluRay and 4 K players in use and some I have had for many years. If you buy a better known brand you get your moneys worth. I buy new ones just to have an upgrade not because the others have failed. I give the old ones away to people who need one. I have 3 LGs now Samsung and Sony. All have been great long lasting players
A:AnswerCheck online with a google search for unlocking or changing regions. I bought a Blu Ray player in the US and took it to the Middle East. It couldn't play DVDs or Blu Ray coded for that region. Looking online I found a way to change the player's coding to universal. It involves powering down and restarting with some button pushes. Takes you into a menu where you can change region coding.
